story 03

the harper family

A little season worth remembering.

The Vision

The Harper family wanted photographs that felt intimate and honest rather than overly staged.

The focus wasn't on creating perfect pictures.

It was on documenting this particular season of their lives — the anticipation, the closeness, the tiny details, and the people they were becoming together.

The Details

Session: Maternity & Newborn

Setting: Coastal / outdoors

Feeling: Soft / Intimate / Natural

The Approach

We kept things simple.

Soft light, familiar surroundings, gentle direction, and plenty of time for the moments in between. Instead of asking everyone to perform for the camera, the session left room for connection to lead.

The Results

The photographs feel quiet, warm, and deeply personal.

Tiny details sit alongside photographs of the newborn baby, creating a gallery that tells the story of this season from more than one perspective.
